Description

Sterilised Milo (Red Dari) grain bags will allow you to quickly and easily make your own mushroom grain spawn. Milo, otherwise known as Red Dari, or Red Sorghum, is a uniform, nutrient-rich grain that’ll provide plenty of inoculation points for your mycelium. 

Our Milo grain is perfectly hydrated and dried to reach an ideal moisture level. Then, it’s bagged up into premium Unicorn mushroom grow bags before being sterilised inside our medical-grade autoclave for 2 hours 30 minutes at 121º.

How To Use

To use your sterile Milo grain bag: Whilst practising aseptic technique, use the included wipe to clean the bag’s injection port, prepare your mushroom genetics syringe (sold separately) and sterilise the tip of the needle. Then, insert the needle into the injection port and inject 2ml-5ml of liquid inside. Need more info? Read our sterile grain bag instructions. 

Deliveries & Returns

Delivery:

We aim to dispatch all in-stock orders placed before 4pm Monday-Friday, and before 10am Saturday-Sunday the same day.

We ship all orders using the DPD Next Day service, so in most cases, you can expect to receive it the next day (if ordered before the cutoff).
