Description

This Turkey Tail (Trametes versicolor) 10ml UK native mushroom liquid culture is a great strain if you’re looking to start cultivating functional fungi. Found growing on deadwood, this bracket fungus grows in layers and features concentric rings of colour. There has been a lot of speculation on its medicinal properties and many people cultivate this species exclusively to make turkey tail tincture. 

This Turkey Tail liquid culture features a syringe that contains 10ml of liquid mycelium. You can use your culture syringe to expand your liquid culture or to inoculate agar, sterile grain or logs, but we recommend sticking to log inoculation. Start by colonising plugs for best results with your outdoor mushroom cultivating.
