The 3kg wood-based all-in-one mushroom grow bag is a game-changer for growing wood-loving species such as reishi, chicken of the woods and turkey tail, to name a few. Its ‘inject and forget’ design allows you to skip the extra steps required by traditional spawn + bulk substrate methods by keeping the grain and substrate ‘all-in-one’ inside the bag. It contains a yield-boosting blend of rye grain, soy hulls and oak pellets (master mix) that’ll have your mycelium thriving from inoculation to harvest.

Our 3kg wood-based all-in-one mushroom grow bags are as sterile as they come! We sterilise each bag for 2 hours 30 minutes inside our medical-grade autoclave to ensure all contamination is killed off. Plus, thanks to the 0.2-micron breathable filter patch and safe self-healing injection port on each bag, you can be sure contamination will be kept out until you’re ready to begin the fruiting stage.

How To Use

Ready to use your 3kg wood-based all-in-one bag? Great! Just make sure to practice aseptic technique throughout the process. Use the included wipe to clean the injection port before inserting 2ml-5ml of your liquid culture (sold separately) inside. Once done, pop the bag aside and wait for the mycelium to start growing. Once the bag is covered in healthy white mycelium, cut it open to start fruiting your mushrooms! For full instructions, here’s more info on using your all-in-one bag. 

Storage Instructions

All sterile bags should be removed from any delivery packaging immediately after being received. This allows the filter patch to breathe, which prevents moisture from passing through the filter and drawing contaminants into the bag.

We recommend storing the bags upright, in a cool, dark place like a cupboard, for up to 7 days to observe that the bag is sterile before use. Do not store in the fridge. All bags can be stored for up to 6 weeks, but should be used as soon as possible. Our sterile bags are covered by our sterile guarantee, so in the unlikely event that your unused bag contaminates within 30 days of receiving it, please contact us for a replacement.

We aim to dispatch all in-stock orders placed before 3pm Monday-Friday the same day (exclusions apply).

We ship most orders using the DPD Next Day service, so in most cases, you can expect to receive it the next day (if ordered before the cutoff).
