Our 3kg Magic Myc® All-In-One Ready To Inoculate Mushroom Grow Bag is our biggest yet. This bag contains a perfect blend of milo, millet, coco coir, vermiculite and gypsum that’ll support the growth of exotic and gourmet mushrooms. Adopting an ‘inject & forget’ mushroom cultivation method, this all in one mushroom bag just needs to be injected with your choice of spore syringe or liquid culture (sold separately) to get started. You can expect a harvest of around 800g of fresh fungi from this bag. 

This 3kg Magic Myc® all-in-one mushroom growing bag will quickly colonise, thanks to the specific mix of grains and substrate inside of the bag. Each batch is perfectly hydrated to ensure optimal field capacity, holding enough moisture to get your mushrooms right through to the fruiting stage. Once blended and bagged, these AIO (All-In-One) bags are sterilised inside our medical-grade autoclave for 2 hours and 30 minutes at a minimum of 121 degrees Celsius to kill off all contamination – providing a clean canvas for your mycelium to grow in.

How To Use

This Magic Myc® grow bag should be paired with a mushroom liquid culture (sold separately), but you can also use a spore syringe. To use this 3kg AIO mushroom grow bag, wipe the bag and syringe with the provided wipes, inject it and set it aside. Over the following weeks, mycelium will eat through the grain and substrate until the whole thing is covered in healthy white mycelium. Once it's ready, you can fruit it right inside the bag! Or cut the top open and spray a couple of times a day to boost the yield. Check out our guide on using your AIO grow bag for detailed instructions. 

Storage Instructions

All sterile bags should be removed from any delivery packaging immediately after being received. This allows the filter patch to breathe, which prevents moisture from passing through the filter and drawing contaminants into the bag.

We recommend storing the bags upright, in a cool, dark place like a cupboard, for up to 7 days to observe that the bag is sterile before use. Do not store in the fridge. All bags can be stored for up to 6 weeks, but should be used as soon as possible. Our sterile bags are covered by our sterile guarantee, so in the unlikely event that your unused bag contaminates within 30 days of receiving it, please contact us for a replacement.

3 weeks and absolutely nothing.

I bought an all in one grow bag and sterile spores. I followed the instructions to the letter and used all the sterilising equipment, yet after three weeks I am seeing absolutely no change whatsoever in the bag.

Not very impressed and feel like I've bee severely overcharged for a bag of useless grain.

After receiving news that your bag did not produce mycelium, we replaced your bag, and guided you through the process to ensure you were happy with your order, and had a successful grow.

As we disccused over email, spores are not guaranteed to germinate inside of your bag, and liquid cultures are a far more reliable form of genetics for a successful grow (this is why we don't sell spores!). We can't control the genetics that our customers decide to use inside of these bags, so it is hard for us to take full responsibility for the outcome of the grow (or lack of growth). This is largely due to the many factors that can make a successful, or unsuccessful grow, such as the grow bag, the genetics, the environment, and the process of inoculation.

However, if you have an issue like this, and reach out to us, we are often able to assist with advice, or even in replacing the product. I hope the replacement bag we sent you was successful, and that you managed to source suitable liquid culture to ensure that this is the case. If you could update this review to reflect your full experience of the product, we would really appreciate it!

Is this a magic mushroom kit?

Hi Matt, thanks for the question! Whilst this 3kg inject & forget kit is certainly magical in many ways, we do not recommend you grow magic mushrooms with it. Magic mushrooms (psilocybin mushrooms) are illegal to grow in the UK and the 3kg all in one mushroom grow bag is strictly designed to be used with gourmet and exotic species instead.
