Already growing plenty of gourmet mushrooms? Save yourself time and grab our 10 x Masters Mix 4kg Mushroom Substrate Bags Bulk Bundle. By stocking up, you’ll save a lot of time, allowing you to stick to the fruiting stage. Our Masters Mix substrates are made with HWFP (Hard Wood Fuel Pellets) and soy hull pellets. Each batch is brought to optimal field capacity and then placed into autoclavable Unicorn grow bags. 

All of our substrates are sterilised in our medical-grade autoclave for 1 hour and 30 minutes, with at least a pressure of 15 PSI. This gives our blocks enough time at a minimum of 121º to reach the centre of the bag, ensuring all microorganisms are killed off. We then open the autoclave inside our cleanroom and heat seal the mushroom grow bags in front of a laminar flow hood to stop any contaminants from getting in.

To get started with these kits (using aseptic technique) cut along the top of the bags and add up to 500g of colonised grain spawn per bag inside. Then seal the blocks back up using either a zip tie or heat sealer. To finish off, mix the spawn and substrate evenly before popping your blocks in ideal growing conditions for colonisation.
