What is a monotub grow kit?

A monotub grow kit includes a monotub fruiting chamber, and a pre-measured bundle of sterile grain and substrate – designed specifically to be used for monotub mushroom cultivation. Monotub refill kits provide the fresh supplies (sterile grain and sub) you need to reuse your existing monotub.

What is BagTek?

BagTek is a mushroom cultivation method where sterile grain is colonised and mixed directly with the substrate inside the substrate bag for further colonisation. Growers using the BagTek method then either fruit directly inside the bag or place the bag into a designated fruiting chamber.

How do I choose the right bundle size for my monotub?

Can I use these bundles with any mushroom species?

Our bundles are designed to work with most cultivable species of mushrooms. Our grain & CVG bundles are better suited for gourmet and exotic mushrooms, but if you are growing gourmet or functional mushrooms instead, you may want to use our Master Mix as substrate.

What’s the difference between a monotub grow kit and an all-in-one grow bag?

A monotub grow kit is a multi-bag bundle (grain bag + substrate bag) designed for fruiting in the provided monotub, while all-in-one grow bags combine everything into a single bag for standalone use (no grain to substrate transfer necessary).
