Easily expand your genetics with our sterile liquid culture jar kit! This jar will support the growth of healthy white mycelium, thanks to the nutrient-rich light malt extract (LME) liquid media inside. Available in 180ml and 400ml sizes, you can turn a single jar into as many as 40 liquid culture (lc) syringes by simply adding a spore solution or LC. 

The lid on each jar features a self-healing injection port for safe inoculation and extraction of genetics. Plus, a leak-resistant 0.2-micron filter that allows for contamination-free gas exchange. A magnetic stir bar has been added inside to allow for easy mixing of your liquid culture, which will speed up growth. All sterile liquid culture jar kits are sterilised for 20 minutes at 121º in our medical-grade autoclave to provide a clean growing medium.

To use the sterile liquid culture jar kit, wipe everything clean and inject your liquid culture or spore syringe (sold separately) into the jar. Set the jar aside and wait for the mycelium to grow, whilst periodically using the magnetic stir bar inside to break and mix up the mycelium. Once the jar is 50% covered in mycelium, stir it up and use it to fill empty syringes (sold separately) with liquid culture. Or, place it into a fridge for long-term storage.
