What CO₂ level should I aim for when fruiting oysters?
Oysters prefer low CO₂. Visible signs of low CO₂ are short, thick stems and broad caps. Long, skinny stems mean that CO₂ is too high. To fix: Increase FAE by opening vents or cycling fans more often. You don’t need an exact ppm meter, since you can use the mushroom morphology as feedback, adjusting airflow and humidity accordingly.
