Description

If you fancy making your own agar dishes, this 20 pack of sterile petri dishes will be a key piece of equipment for you. Featuring a 90mm diameter, they’ll provide enough space for you to grow mycelium on a flat surface, without being too large to colonise quickly.

How To Use

To pour your own agar plates, set up an aseptic environment and sterilise a surgical blade/scissors and cut along the top of the packs plastic sleeve. Once you’ve carefully taken out the petri dishes, you can lift one dish lid at a time (being cautious not to touch the underside of the lid with fingertips) to pour your agar media in. Drop the lid back on to the dish and repeat until the agar is finished, then let the dishes cool and you’re good to go.

Deliveries & Returns

Delivery:

We aim to dispatch all in-stock orders placed before 4pm Monday-Friday, and before 10am Saturday-Sunday the same day.

We ship all orders using the DPD Next Day service, so in most cases, you can expect to receive it the next day (if ordered before the cutoff).
