This Portable Still Air Box (SAB) is the perfect way to start practising mycology with more reliable results. This still air box creates a still air environment that prevents contamination from making its way into your sterile supplies via airflow. With a SAB, you can begin performing more advanced mycology techniques, such as agar to grain transfers and liquid culture inoculations, with better results than in an open-air environment. 

This Still Air Box is completely portable, thanks to its pop-up design and convenient carry case. Once taken out of its case, it’ll pop up into a 90x60x60cm still air box. It features two convenient arm holes for maintaining zero airflow. Plus, each side has a zippable door that allows you to load the SAB with your sterile supplies, ready for mycology work.

Pop up the still air box and unzip the side doors to load your sterile supplies inside, then rezip the side doors. Poke your arms through the armholes and sanitise your equipment and supplies, then begin performing your mycology work. Please note: Do not use naked flames inside this still air box.
